Getting Started with SurveyShark

This guide walks you through creating a secure account, signing in, and publishing your first survey.

Create your SurveyShark account

Registration checklist

Select Register in the top navigation.

Provide an email address you can verify immediately.

Choose a password with at least eight characters, including uppercase, lowercase, number, and symbol.

Confirm the password to avoid typos.

Open the verification email and activate your account.

Verification links expire after 24 hours. Request a new email from the login page if you miss the window.

Sign in securely

Standard login

Open the Login dialog from the navigation bar.

Enter the email address you registered.

Type your password and select Login.

Reset a forgotten password

Choose Forgot Password? to launch the reset wizard.

Check your inbox for the secure reset link.

Create a new password that meets security requirements.

Always sign out on shared devices by selecting Logout from the navigation bar.

Launch your first survey

Create a survey shell

Navigate to Surveys > Create Survey.

Enter a descriptive survey title.

Summarize the purpose for respondents.

Select Create to open the question builder.

Add questions with or without AI

Supply optional instructions to steer tone, length, or audience.

Review each suggestion—you can edit, delete, or add manual questions at any time.

Survey content is processed securely; personal data is never shared.

Share with participants

Publish the survey to generate a shareable link.

Invite respondents via email or embed the link in your website.

Share to Facebook.

Next steps

Review live analytics from the Charts or Grid.

Export responses to CSV or Excel.
